Spam has been a problem for most of the time the web has been around. Unless you have been extremely cautious about letting your email address get onto a spammers list, then you likely have a lot of junk email in your inbox every day.

For the best protection from junk email, MX Force is available to all Cyber Scriber customers as well as anyone with a custom domain name and the ability to modify their domain MX records..

Here's a quick summary of how this system works:

1. With a simple MX record change, messages are directed from the internet to one of the MX Force datacenters for analysis.
2. Each message is intensively scanned by their anti-spam, anti-virus and policy engines
3. Junk Messages are quarantined remotely. The administration console allows you access to easily view and search through quarantined messages.
4. Only genuine messeges are passed on to you saving your time normally spent sifting through the daily barrage of junk email.

Further, your MX Force account allows you to modify the filter settings, add emails to your safe senders list to make sure they bypass the filters, or add emails to your blocked senders list in case spam gets through and you want to be sure it's rejected. You can also review your quarantine file at any time and will be sent an email every evening (at the time you request) listing the messages added to the quarantine that day.

On average, 75% of email is blocked, 20% is put in quarantine and 5% is sent through. The effectiveness of this system cannot be overstated.
